I'm Jenny Lucas. I got my own ADHD and autism diagnoses at 37, after burnout had signed me off from teaching and I've spent the time since building the support I couldn't find.

Hi, I'm Jenny
Everyone at school said they were tired and for years I assumed they meant the same thing I did. I taught music in secondary schools for 16 years and was a head of year. In March 2021 I was signed off with stress and never went back. The ADHD diagnosis came in June 2022 and the autism one that August.
When I asked about support for someone like me, my GP told me there wasn't any. So I started building it: coaching, a podcast, a book, a community and an app, for late diagnosed adults with jobs, families and a head full of new information they don't know what to do with yet.

Reclaim Your SELF Hub
You know what you do and why you do it. Somehow that has made the world you used to be comfortable in feel stranger. The Hub is where you work out what to do about it, with people who hear the thing you've never said out loud and answer "oh, I do that".
It's for people who want to take part: ask a question, answer someone else's, come to the live sessions when you can and try things out in between. Miss one and nobody chases you. Burnout Buddy is included for members.
Doors open Monday 23 November 2026 at 7pm UK time.
It's a privilege to count myself as a member of this amazing community. To feel truly valued and accepted for who I am was an absolute first for me. The honesty, compassion and integrity are what holds me here.A.C., Hub member

Burnout Buddy
Brian keeps you company while you move through burnout, for as long as it takes. On the bad days that is two minutes.
No streaks and no nagging. It's not therapy or a crisis service.
The suggestions of 'rest types' are so supportive and validating in moments when my brain has gone into loading mode where thoughts aren't complete or useful!C.M., Burnout Buddy member
One-to-one coaching
From a single hour when something has come up to a whole day with me in your corner. This is what people have said after their sessions.
Jenny was very attuned and attentive, with clear advice, questions and prompts. Obviously very passionate, the session felt like a true back and forth where it felt we were figuring things out together, which I loved.H., coaching client
I enjoyed my sessions and found them very helpful. I felt a lot clearer of my direction after the sessions and uncovered some underlying blockages that were preventing me from moving forward.C.C., coaching client
Jenny was very kind and understanding and gave me good direction to let me realise things for myselfJ.A., coaching client
